• Contact details: name, phone number, WhatsApp number, email address — collected when you submit an enquiry, message us, or book a trip.
• Trip details: destination preferences, travel dates, group size, hotel-tier preference, dietary or accessibility needs.
• Booking & payment: billing name, address, identity proof (passport / Aadhaar) where required for hotel and visa formalities.
• Site usage: anonymous page views, clicks, and approximate location via your IP address. We do not place advertising trackers.

3. How we use it

• To respond to enquiries and prepare itinerary quotes.
• To make hotel, transport, and activity bookings on your behalf.
• To meet legal requirements (e.g., GST invoices, foreign-traveller registration).
• To send occasional updates about your booking and, if you've opted in, travel deals.

4. Who we share it with

We share only the minimum information necessary with the third parties involved in delivering your trip — hotels, transport providers, monument booking agents, and payment processors. We do not sell or rent your data.

5. How long we keep it

Active booking records are kept for the duration required by Indian tax and tourism regulations (typically 7 years for billing). Enquiry-only data is retained for up to 24 months unless you ask us to delete it sooner.

6. Your rights

You can request a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or request its deletion. Email info@india-travel-agency.com with your request and we'll respond within 14 days.

7. Cookies & analytics

We use a single first-party cookie to keep you logged in to features like search filters, and a lightweight analytics script to understand which pages and tours visitors find useful. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.

8. Children

This site is intended for adults planning travel for themselves and their families. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent change. Material changes will be communicated to active customers by email or WhatsApp.
