Lucknow, the City of Nawabs is known for its Mughal architecture and variety of delicious cuisines. Ayodhya is located in the Ayodhya district of Uttar Pradesh, India. This ancient city is widely regarded as the birthplace of Lord Rama and is deeply connected to the events of the epic Ramayana.

Due to its religious and cultural importance, Ayodhya holds a special place in Hindu mythology and tradition. Lucknow, the capital of Uttar Pradesh in northern India, is a prominent city known for its historical elegance and architectural grandeur. At its heart lies the Rumi Darwaza, a majestic Mughal gateway.

Close by is the impressive Bara Imambara, built in the 18th century, featuring an enormous central hall. The upper level houses the famous Bhool Bhulaiya, a labyrinth of narrow passages that leads to stunning views of the city. Also nearby is the Husainabad Clock Tower, a Victorian-era structure built in 1881 to commemorate a significant victory.

Itinerary

Day 1

Arrival in Ayodhya via Lucknow

Upon arrival in Lucknow , drive directly to Ayodhya . Check into your hotel upon reaching. Later in the afternoon, visit the Sarayu River Ghat , followed by Dashrath Mahal and the sacred Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple . Return to the hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 2

Ayodhya to Lucknow Exploration

After breakfast, check out and head back to Lucknow . Once there, settle into your hotel. Begin your city tour with a visit to the iconic Bara Imambara , guided by a local expert. Enjoy an authentic Awadhi lunch at popular eateries like Dastarkhwan or Tunday Kababi (meals not included in the package). Post lunch, explore the historic British Residency and, if time allows, take a stroll through the bustling Hazratganj Market . Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 3

Departure from Lucknow

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel before checking out. You will then be transferred to Lucknow Airport or Railway Station for your journey back home.
